Medical IoT Therapy Vest

Overview

Built complete embedded hardware and PCB for a wearable laser phototherapy device. The system delivers controlled therapeutic laser output across multiple zones on the vest while continuously monitoring patient skin temperature to ensure safe treatment delivery.

Developed firmware for session management and fail-safe automatic shutdown if temperature thresholds are exceeded, ensuring patient safety at all times during treatment sessions. The multi-zone laser control allows independent adjustment of intensity per treatment area.

Built an accompanying mobile application for real-time monitoring and session control over Bluetooth, enabling clinicians to configure treatment parameters, monitor live temperature readings, and review session history remotely.
